I posted another video of my Green 50mW because in my first video you could not see the beam very well at night. You still can't see it very well in this video, but it is better than before.
In real life the beam is completely solid for about 2.5 miles, and when it is on the ground, it is literally painful to look at. It is great for astronomy or just messing around. The maximum length the beam travels is about 2.5 miles.
